Hello, and thanks for taking the time to visit my site!
I'm Ashley, from the sleep village of Pinxton in Derbyshire, and live with my better half Nat, and our 1.5 ear rescue cat Ginge. I'm best described as a friendly giant, with an excessive gin & take out addiction, and mental arithmetic skills that'd give Carol Voderman a run for her money.
I've had somewhat of an obsession with photography from a very young age, with early memories of calling it a 'camberra'. You've never seen a kid get get through as many disposable cameras as I did on my holidays - luckily my end product has improved a smidge since those days.
I've been involved with photography for all of my working life - all the way back to my early teens spending my Saturdays managing the minilab at my local Klick Photopoint (spoiler; I was the one who put those "hopefully no one sees these" pictures at the front of the pack, causing immense embarrassment when asking to confirm they're yours. Sorry..).
You'll struggle to find anyone with more of a genuine excitement for weddings, which is how I've 'stumbled' into becoming a wedding photographer. They're days filled with love, celebration, humour, and some of the best worst dancing you'll ever see - and I'd love to be part of your big day.
I'm best described as a reportage style wedding photographer, with a bright and airy feel to my pictures, making the most of natural light. I look to capture the raw truth of the day - the smiles, the tears, and the laughs so big it makes your stomach ache.
Throughout the day I try to be as inconspicuous as a 6ft5 lump of Greggs pasties can be, capturing the moments as they happen, rather than forcing them.
